Holi Hai

How is it Monday again already?!?

Another hectic and fun filled weekend here. Saturday was, as always, filled with too many hours at school, before a quiet night in playing cards and not drinking beer (still going strong on the alcohol free lent incase anyone’s interested!)

On Sunday I went for a girly lunch in Kemang with Emma and Glory, and a few teachers from other schools. The food was amazing and it was nice to catch up, but Emma and I had to rush away for the main rent of the afternoon…..

Holi Hai!

It was a celebration to mark the Hindu festival of colour and love – basically there were hundreds of people throwing coloured powder and water balloons at each other. It was so much fun.

We got extremely colourful before heading back to Tebet to have some dinner (and angering a taxi driver in the process – I’m not sure he realised just how dyed we were when we jumped in…oops!).

Delicious food, good fun, the best company, great weekend 🙂

Any thoughts?
